I've had so many amazing classes at Clark, but the one that surprised me the most was the Philosophy class I took for my Formal Analysis requirement, Symbolic Logic. I'd heard it was a challenging class, and it was a subject that I had known nothing about before I started... But it turns out I really enjoy puzzles! I learned something new about myself and gained the confidence to step out of my comfort zone in other courses. Now I do Sudoku and crossword puzzles as often as I can.
There is a flowering tree off to the side of Goddard Library with a small bench tucked underneath against the brick wall. When that tree is in bloom, there's no place I'd rather be.
I'm pursuing a job in radio, so I have some podcast and radio projects up my sleeves. I'm currently most interested in combining some of the amazing things I learned while studying abroad in Spain into a longform radio project. But I'm also working on some projects about ghosts, first names, and tragic humor!
Coming from a very rural town, Worcester has surprised me with its ample green space--there are parks everywhere! When the weather's right, I like to get takeout from a local restaurant and sit in the grass with friends.
