Tour Guide at Clark University

Class of 2020

Hometown: Ouest, Haiti

Major: International Development and Social Change

Concentration: Global Health

What's your favorite class at Clark?

My favorite class at Clark has to be 'What is public health?' with German Chiriboga. This class was the most interesting and engaging class I've ever taken at Clark. *He only teaches it in the Spring semester

What makes you feel most alive?

Music; specifically : Kompa, Soca, Dancehall, Troubadour, Afrobeats

What is your most meaningful place on campus?

My most meaningful place on campus is the Moisaic suite in Dana Commons. This is a space that was claimed for people who own one or more marginalized identities. From club meetings to homework to simply chilling, almost anything can be done in this space.

What are you currently working on?

I am currently in the process of applying to study abroad in the Spring as well as working on a research collective with a Clark professor. Our project is to try to understand more about the concept of 'Africanness'.
