Tour Guide at Clark University
Class of 2019
Hometown: Bothell, WA
Major: Computer Science
Minor: Math
I have two answers for this question: 1. When I have worked for hours on a computer program and I finally get the code to do exactly what I want. I feel super proud of all the work I did. It is also really cool knowing I made a machine do something. 2. When I am performing on stage. I love becoming a character but it is so rewarding to share that character with a live audience. It is a beautiful moment to be apart of.
I am extremely passionate about everything I do. From my love of Disney to math, I put 100% into all of it. I also have an extremely diverse range of interests. I can have a 2 hour conversation about the deeper meaning behind themes found in Harry Potter or I can talk about how to manipulate a computer into doing what you need. I love being in musicals but I also love working behind a desk. I am unique and so is every other Clarkie.
I love the English class I took last year called Monsters and Tales from the Dark Side. It is taught by professor Robin McLean. We get to sit in a circle and talk about the monsters in books we have been reading. We also got to write stories about our own monsters. It is a very different class from my major/minor classes but that is one reason why I loved it so much.
The math common room on the third floor of the Bio-physics building. That is were I like to go in between my classes and I also love to do homework and look out the window.
