One of the things I pride my self on the most is that I'm never satisfied with a simple answer. I'm interested in finding out why things are the way they are. At Clark I am able to go after this even more, threw research as well as threw seeing the ways in which different topics from my classes play into and overlap with one another. Being able to take classes that I am truly interested in also makes it easy for me to want to deliver the best work I can, regardless of whether its a two page paper or 36 page research project.
I am currently pursuing a degree in History and Political Science with a possible minor in economics. I plan on completting a masters in national security and conflict resolution, with the aim to work for the state department in some capacity, whether it be as a policy advisor or a consultant.
Me and my friends met almost by chance during my first few weeks at Clark. We are all interested in different fields and activities, but what ever our interests may be we're all extremely passionate. Being able to listen to the way in which they approach and interpret things allows me to gain a deeper understanding. Additionally whether it be threw study break dance parties, late night perogiees or spontaneous heart to hearts, I know I'll always be at home with them.
I feel most alive when I'm traveling. Whether it be a trip I've planned for weeks of a spontaneous road trip, I love the feeling of being in a place I've never been. I like exploring without a set plan of exactly where I'm going. I've been lucky enough to have lived on two continents during high school and to have volunteered in Nepal during my senior year. I think this first made me realize that I wanted to travel. I hope to visit every continent at least once and I'm hoping to go on a road trip before I graduate.
